Born in Wakiso. Built on hope.
A small idea between neighbors became a community of thousands.
A community-led foundation.
Fecane Child Foundation was founded by a group of Wakiso parents and teachers who refused to accept that any child should grow up without a meal, a teacher, or a roof. We are local first — our staff, our volunteers and our trustees all live and work in the communities we serve.
Today, we support more than 12,000 children every year across Wakiso, Kampala, Mukono and Mpigi, with programs in education, nutrition, clean water and healthcare.
Eleven years, one promise.
